Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end procurement cycles, from requisition to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with vendors to maximize cost efficiency and value.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to mitigate risk and drive innovation.
- Analyze market trends and data to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels.
- Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Finance, Engineering) to align purchasing with business goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in procurement or purchasing within a corporate environment.
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating contracts and achieving significant cost reductions.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and procurement software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and market reports.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
