Job Description
Nexus Logistics Solutions is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Logistics Manager to oversee our end-to-end supply chain operations. In this pivotal role, you will drive efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure the timely delivery of products across North America. We are looking for a leader who can optimize our logistics network and foster strong relationships with third-party logistics providers.
As part of our growth strategy, you will be responsible for streamlining processes, implementing new technologies, and leading a cross-functional team to achieve operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operations of the logistics department, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization.
- Manage relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and 3PL providers to negotiate rates and service level agreements.
- Implement and maintain robust inventory control systems to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
- Oversee the coordination of shipments, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and customer requirements.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies that align with company goals and market demands.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management or supply chain operations.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Associates.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex logistics data and generate reports.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
