Responsibilities
- Analyze supply chain data to identify bottlenecks and implement optimization strategies
- Manage inventory levels across 5+ distribution centers to minimize carrying costs
- Develop and maintain supplier performance metrics for 50+ key vendors
- Lead cross-functional projects to improve order fulfillment rates and reduce lead times
- Create demand forecasting models using statistical software (SAS, Python, or R)
- Coordinate logistics network design and transportation cost reduction initiatives
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international trade compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Analytics (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive supply chain experience in distribution or manufacturing
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or JDE) and WMS platforms
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or CPIM designation required
- Expertise in inventory optimization and demand forecasting methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with experience in SQL and data visualization tools
- Proven track record of reducing logistics costs by 10-15% through process improvements
- Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to executive leadership
