Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute comprehensive global sourcing strategies aligned with company goals and market trends.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead high-stakes negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and long-term partnerships.
- Vendor Management: Manage the full supplier lifecycle, including onboarding, performance evaluation, and conducting regular audits.
- Cost Optimization: Analyze market data and internal spend to identify significant cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Operations, and R&D teams to ensure supply chain resilience and efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a team of junior buyers and procurement analysts.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex contracts and manage difficult vendor relationships.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Coupa) and data analytics tools.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to senior stakeholders.
