Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for key commodity categories
- Lead vendor negotiations, contract renewals, and relationship management
- Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and risk mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams on new product introduction sourcing
- Implement and optimize procurement KPIs including cost savings and supplier performance
- Manage global supplier diversity program and ethical sourcing initiatives
- Lead cross-functional procurement projects and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive purchasing/procurement experience in manufacturing
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) designation required
- Expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and procurement software
- Proven track record of achieving 10%+ annual cost savings targets
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making
- Excellent leadership abilities with cross-functional team management experience
