Responsibilities
- Design and analyze subsea hardware (trees, manifolds, flowlines) using industry-standard software (e.g., SACS, OrcaFlex)
- Develop system integration plans for subsea control systems and umbilicals
- Conduct FECA studies and risk assessments for deepwater installations
- Mentor junior engineers and manage project deliverables
- Coordinate with drilling and reservoir teams to align subsea solutions with field development plans
- Ensure compliance with API 17D and ISO 13628 standards
- Support field operations during installation and commissioning phases
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Ocean/ Petroleum Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of subsea engineering experience in deepwater projects
- Proficiency in subsea design software (Petrel, COMPASS)
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic control systems
- Certification in API 17D or equivalent industry standards
- Experience with FECA studies and HAZOP analyses
- Proven track record in managing engineering deliverables
- Valid TWIC certification and offshore safety training
