Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to forecast production and optimize field development
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in planning and executing drilling/completion strategies
- Analyze well performance data to identify enhancement opportunities and cost-saving measures
- Develop innovative solutions for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and industry best practices
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical knowledge transfer
- Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 10+ years of upstream experience with deepwater and unconventional assets
- Proficiency in industry-standard software (Petrel, Eclipse, Nexus)
- Strong background in reservoir characterization and well design
- Proven track record in optimizing production systems
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience leading cross-functional projects in complex environments
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
