Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptual, FEED, and detailed design of offshore subsea pipelines, risers, and subsea structures.
- Perform advanced mechanical and structural design calculations, including wall thickness, on-bottom stability, and free-span analysis.
- Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for pipelines under high-pressure, high-temperature (HPHT) conditions.
- Oversee pipeline installation analysis and author comprehensive offshore installation procedures.
- Collaborate with clients, certifying authorities, and third-party contractors to ensure compliance with industry codes.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in engineering workflows and offshore safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Ocean, or Marine Engineering.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in subsea pipeline engineering within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Expertise in industry-standard software such as ABAQUS, ANSYS, AutoPIPE, or Orcaflex.
- Deep understanding of design codes including DNV-ST-F101, ASME B31.8, and API RP 1111.
- Proven track record of delivering deepwater or HPHT pipeline projects from concept to completion.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to lead technical discussions with global stakeholders.
