Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Lead end-to-end procurement cycles for assigned categories, including market analysis, sourcing strategy development, and execution.
- Negotiation: Negotiate complex contracts with global suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Cost Reduction: Analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement category management strategies.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior procurement staff and collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and engineering teams.
- Compliance: Ensure all purchasing activities adhere to internal policies, legal standards, and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Ariba) and advanced Excel skills.
- Negotiation: Proven track record of successful contract negotiation and cost reduction.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.
