Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global sourcing strategies to optimize spend and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Lead high-stakes negotiations with key suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements.
- Analyze market trends and economic shifts to provide data-driven insights for executive decision-making.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from initial RFP/RFQ to final contract execution and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Finance, and Operations to align purchasing activities with company goals.
- Implement and oversee rigorous vendor performance management programs to ensure continuous improvement and compliance.
- Drive sustainability initiatives within the supply chain by identifying and onboarding eco-conscious partners.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team of procurement specialists to foster a culture of professional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in strategic purchasing or procurement management.
- Proven track record of delivering significant cost savings and operational efficiencies in a global context.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Professional certification such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CSCP is highly desirable.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets and market forecasts.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision.
