Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategic sourcing plans for high-value categories to achieve cost reduction and quality improvement targets.
- Lead complex negotiations with global suppliers, managing the full contract lifecycle from RFP to contract execution.
- Analyze market trends, pricing data, and commodity forecasts to make informed sourcing decisions.
- Manage and cultivate relationships with key suppliers, ensuring alignment with company goals and performance standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to define technical specifications and budget requirements.
- Drive supplier diversity initiatives and identify opportunities for sustainable sourcing.
- Oversee supplier performance metrics (KPIs) and implement corrective action plans for underperforming vendors.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Masterâs degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in strategic procurement or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating contracts and achieving significant cost savings.
- Expert knowledge of procurement software (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle) and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market reports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
