Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives for direct and indirect materials, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Negotiate complex contracts and agreements with global suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and risk mitigation.
- Manage the supplier relationship lifecycle, from onboarding and performance reviews to renewal and termination.
- Analyze market trends and pricing data to develop robust sourcing strategies and contingency plans.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and engineering to align procurement goals with business objectives.
- Oversee inventory management processes to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize carrying costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts and achieving significant cost reductions.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba) and advanced MS Excel skills.
