Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies to ensure the efficient acquisition of goods and services.
- Negotiate favorable contracts with vendors, focusing on cost reduction, quality assurance, and delivery timelines.
- Manage the entire supplier lifecycle, from vendor selection and onboarding to performance evaluation and renewal.
- Analyze market trends and pricing data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Lead cross-functional teams to define specifications and resolve complex supply chain issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years of proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Relevant professional qualification (e.g., CIPS, MCIPS) is highly desirable.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market reports.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million pound budgets.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a matrix organization.
