Responsibilities
- Lead the full procurement lifecycle, from requirement analysis and market research to contract execution and vendor management.
- Conduct thorough supplier analysis and market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and high-quality vendors.
- Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs) with key suppliers to optimize spend.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Monitor market trends and analyze data to forecast future needs and ensure inventory levels align with business demands.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal regulations regarding procurement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain operations.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven history of driving significant cost reductions.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical abilities, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience navigating UK procurement laws and regulatory frameworks.
