Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Coordinate with external auditors to ensure seamless quarterly reviews and year-end audits.
- Lead the monthly financial close process, ensuring timely reporting and variance analysis.
- Monitor and manage fixed asset schedules and depreciation calculations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls to mitigate financial risk.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to support senior leadership in strategic planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting.
- Active CPA license or significant progress toward certification is strongly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and complex formulas).
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.
- Strong understanding of GAAP standards and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly.
