Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee daily general ledger maintenance and perform complex account reconciliations.
- Lead tax compliance filings and support annual external audit preparation.
- Analyze budget-to-actual variances and provide actionable management reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to streamline procurement and payroll workflows.
- Mentor junior accounting staff to foster a culture of professional excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- 4-6 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, macros) and ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP principles and internal control frameworks.
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder management.
