Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle month-end and year-end close procedures for multiple business units.
- Execute complex general ledger reconciliations and prepare journal entries.
- Provide detailed variance analysis of financial results against budgets and forecasts.
- Streamline internal accounting processes to improve reporting cycle efficiency.
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and manage depreciation schedules.
- Assist the Controller with tax filings and regulatory reporting requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public audit.
- CPA certification or actively pursuing licensure is highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Sage Intacct.
- Deep understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
