Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain comprehensive end-to-end automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Integrate automated test suites into Jenkins/GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous deployment.
- Lead API testing initiatives using Postman and RestAssured to ensure robust microservices communication.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define acceptance criteria and test strategies for complex features.
- Perform deep-dive root cause analysis on production issues and implement preventive automated checks.
- Mentor junior quality engineers on best practices for clean code, page object models, and test design.
- Conduct performance and load testing using JMeter or k6 to identify system bottlenecks.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Engineering with a focus on automation.
- Expert-level proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, or TypeScript).
- Hands-on experience with modern automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and complex SQL querying for data validation.
- Proven track record of implementing CI/CD integrations for automated test execution.
- Experience testing cloud-native applications hosted on AWS or Azure.
- Exceptional analytical thinking and a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
