Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain advanced security solutions including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and DLP systems.
- Conduct thorough threat hunting and incident response activities to neutralize active threats.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security gaps.
- Lead architecture reviews for cloud and on-premise environments to enforce Zero Trust principles.
- Develop and automate security playbooks for rapid incident containment.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Monitor global threat landscapes and provide strategic recommendations for risk mitigation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly valued.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or Information Security role.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and operating systems (Linux, Windows).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation.
- Experience with cloud security frameworks (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container security (Kubernetes).
