Responsibilities
- Provide crisis counseling and safety planning for survivors of domestic violence and homelessness
- Develop individualized intervention plans using evidence-based modalities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal advocates and healthcare providers
- Lead community workshops on trauma resilience and resource navigation
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and risk evaluations
- Advocate for systemic change through policy research and coalition building
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records (Epic systems)
Qualifications
- MSW from CSWE-accredited program (LCSW preferred)
- 3+ years crisis intervention experience with vulnerable populations
- Certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
- Proficiency in case management software (e.g., CareLogic)
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience in grant reporting and program evaluation
- Valid NY State Social Work license
- Ability to work evenings/weekends for on-call rotations
