Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive treatment plans for a diverse caseload of individuals and families.
- Facilitate crisis intervention services with a focus on stabilization and long-term support.
- Lead multidisciplinary team meetings to review client progress and adjust intervention strategies.
- Maintain precise, high-quality documentation in compliance with federal and state regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with local community organizations to bridge resource gaps for underserved clients.
- Provide mentorship to junior social workers and interns within the department.
- Advocate for client rights and policy improvements within the local social service infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited university.
- Current LCSW or LSW licensure in the State of Illinois.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical or community-based social work.
- Demonstrated expertise in trauma-informed care and de-escalation techniques.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to manage high-pressure situations with empathy.
