Responsibilities
- Develop and implement culturally responsive outreach strategies to engage marginalized communities
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and case management for at-risk populations
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, schools, and government agencies to create integrated care pathways
- Lead community workshops on mental health literacy, harm reduction, and social rights
- Advocate for systemic policy changes through research and coalition-building
- Maintain detailed client documentation while ensuring HIPAA compliance
- Mentor junior staff and supervise interns in trauma-informed practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
- NYS Licensure as LCSW or LMSW with 3+ years post-licensure experience
- Proven expertise in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care models
- Experience coordinating with healthcare systems and government agencies
- Cultural competency working with diverse populations (LGBTQ+, immigrant, unhoused)
- Advanced knowledge of NYC social services landscape and benefit programs
- Strong data analysis skills for program evaluation and reporting
- Valid NY driver's license and reliable transportation
