Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of family dynamics to identify needs, risks, and protective factors.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized service plans in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Provide crisis intervention and emotional support to families facing acute challenges.
- Advocate for clients within legal, medical, and educational systems to secure necessary resources.
- Document case notes and maintain accurate, confidential records in accordance with HIPAA standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including law enforcement, schools, and healthcare providers.
Qualifications
- Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from an accredited university.
- Valid California Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in child welfare, foster care, or family services.
- Strong knowledge of California State Mandates and Child Protective Services (CPS) protocols.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on empathy and active listening.
- Ability to manage high caseloads while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
