Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop safety plans for at-risk children and families
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and case management services to 15+ families monthly
- Collaborate with schools, courts, and healthcare providers to coordinate integrated care
- Develop and implement trauma-informed care plans aligned with ACEs framework
- Train staff and community partners on child protection protocols and cultural humility
- Maintain meticulous documentation while ensuring compliance with DCFS regulations
- Lead community outreach initiatives to prevent child maltreatment
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) with LCSW licensure in Illinois
- Minimum 5 years' experience in child protection or family services
- Advanced certification in Trauma-Focused CBT or TF-CBT
- Proficiency in case management software (e.g., Cerner, Epic)
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish strongly preferred
- Experience with family systems theory and motivational interviewing
- Valid Illinois driver's license with reliable transportation
- Strong crisis de-escalation and conflict resolution skills
