Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive child welfare assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
- Provide crisis intervention and trauma-informed counseling to children and families
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including schools, law enforcement, and healthcare providers
- Advocate for clients in court proceedings and administrative hearings
- Train and mentor junior social workers on evidence-based practices
- Manage caseloads of 15-20 high-complexity cases while maintaining compliance with state regulations
- Develop community partnerships to strengthen support networks for vulnerable families
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from accredited institution
- LCSW licensure in Illinois with minimum 3 years post-MSW experience
- Specialized training in child trauma and forensic interviewing
- Demonstrated success in crisis intervention and family reunification
- Proficiency in case management software (e.g., CWS, Salesforce)
- Bilingual Spanish proficiency strongly preferred
- Valid Illinois driver's license and reliable transportation
- Experience working with diverse cultural and socioeconomic populations
