Responsibilities
- Assess family dynamics and develop trauma-informed intervention plans
- Lead crisis response teams for high-risk child welfare cases
- Supervise 3-5 junior social workers through mentorship and case reviews
- Collaborate with schools, courts, and healthcare providers for coordinated care
- Design and implement community outreach programs for at-risk youth
- Maintain compliance with NYS child welfare regulations and documentation standards
- Analyze program outcomes to refine service delivery models
Qualifications
- Master's in Social Work (MSW) from CSWE-accredited program
- LCSW license in New York State
- Minimum 5 years experience in child welfare or family services
- Certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
- Proven ability to manage complex caseloads with competing priorities
- Experience training staff on cultural humility practices
- Strong data analysis skills for program evaluation
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish preferred
