Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans for clients facing mental health challenges, housing instability, and systemic barriers
- Lead multidisciplinary case conferences with healthcare providers, legal advocates, and community partners
- Provide crisis intervention and trauma-informed counseling to individuals and families
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop evidence-based intervention strategies
- Advocate for policy changes through community engagement and research initiatives
- Maintain meticulous documentation while ensuring HIPAA/FIPPA compliance
- Mentor junior staff through supervision and professional development workshops
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in direct service provision
- Current Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) registration
- Advanced certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
- Proven ability to navigate complex community resources and systems
- Experience developing anti-oppressive practice frameworks
- Crisis Intervention Certification (CIT) or equivalent
- Fluency in English and proficiency in at least one additional language (Spanish, Mandarin, Tamil, etc.)
