Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized support plans for clients facing complex social challenges
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and risk evaluations
- Provide crisis intervention and trauma-informed counseling services
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including healthcare providers and legal advocates
- Advocate for systemic change through policy development and community outreach
- Maintain accurate case documentation while adhering to confidentiality standards
- Supervise junior staff and social work interns
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from accredited institution
- Minimum 5 years post-MSW clinical experience
- Current Ontario College of Social Workers registration
- Certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy preferred
- Demonstrated crisis intervention and conflict resolution skills
- Experience working with diverse populations including refugees and LGBTQ+ communities
- Strong case management and documentation abilities
- Valid Ontario driver's license with reliable vehicle
