Responsibilities
- Assess client needs through comprehensive evaluations and develop tailored intervention plans
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and case management for individuals/families
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations to coordinate services
- Advocate for clients within legal, educational, and healthcare systems
- Conduct outreach programs to connect marginalized populations with resources
- Maintain detailed case records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Lead trauma-informed support groups and community workshops
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
- LCSW licensure in Illinois (or ability to obtain within 3 months)
- 3+ years of experience in direct client services within social services
- Expertise in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care methodologies
- Strong knowledge of Chicago's social services landscape and resources
- Proven ability to navigate complex systems (legal, healthcare, education)
- Excellent written/verbal communication and cultural competency skills
- Valid Illinois driver's license with reliable transportation
