Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop personalized intervention plans for clients facing homelessness, domestic violence, or mental health challenges
- Provide crisis intervention, trauma-informed counseling, and ongoing case management for individuals and families
- Coordinate community resources including housing vouchers, healthcare services, and employment assistance programs
- Advocate for systemic change through policy analysis and participation in community coalitions
- Maintain detailed electronic records and generate outcome reports for funding compliance
- Supervise junior staff and facilitate peer support groups for community resilience building
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution with current LCSW licensure in Illinois
- Minimum 5 years' experience in direct client services with vulnerable populations
- Expertise in crisis intervention, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care methodologies
- Proven ability to navigate complex healthcare, housing, and social service systems
- Strong analytical skills for data collection and outcome measurement
- Certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) preferred
- Fluency in Spanish highly desirable due to Chicago's diverse population
