Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for clients facing complex psychosocial challenges
- Conduct comprehensive assessments using evidence-based screening tools and diagnostic frameworks
- Provide crisis intervention and trauma-informed counseling to individuals and families
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including healthcare providers, educators, and legal advocates
- Lead community outreach programs targeting underserved populations
- Advocate for policy changes affecting social service delivery systems
- Maintain accurate client documentation and compliance with HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
- LCSW or LMSW license with 3+ years post-licensure experience
- Proven expertise in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care methodologies
- Familiarity with NYC social service systems and community resources
- Strong cultural competency working with diverse populations including LGBTQ+ communities
- Advanced knowledge of ethical guidelines and confidentiality protocols
- Experience supervising social work interns or junior staff
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish preferred
