Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients facing mental health challenges, substance abuse, and trauma
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and risk evaluations for vulnerable populations
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care teams including therapists, medical professionals, and community partners
- Provide crisis intervention services for individuals and families in acute distress
- Advocate for clients within legal, educational, and healthcare systems
- Lead community workshops on mental wellness, parenting skills, and financial literacy
- Maintain detailed case documentation ensuring compliance with HIPAA and agency standards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
- LCSW or LMSW license in New York State
- Minimum 5 years of direct service experience in clinical social work
- Proven expertise in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care
- Strong knowledge of NYC social service resources and systems
- Experience supervising social work interns or junior staff
- Certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) preferred
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish highly desirable
