Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive case management plans for vulnerable populations
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling services to individuals and families
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, schools, and government agencies
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and document client progress
- Design community outreach programs to address systemic barriers
- Supervise junior staff and coordinate volunteer initiatives
- Advocate for policy changes affecting social welfare systems
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
- LCSW or LMSW license in New York State
- Minimum 3 years of direct social services experience
- Expertise in trauma-informed care and crisis intervention
- Strong assessment, documentation, and case management skills
- Experience working with diverse populations and cultural competency
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Bilingual Spanish/English proficiency preferred
