Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for clients facing complex social challenges
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and risk evaluations
- Provide crisis intervention and trauma-informed counseling services
- Coordinate community resources and advocate for client needs across systems
- Lead interdisciplinary case management teams and supervise junior staff
- Design and deliver innovative group therapy programs
- Maintain meticulous documentation while ensuring HIPAA/FIPPA compliance
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in direct social services
- Valid BCSSW registration or eligibility for immediate registration
- Certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
- Expertise in crisis intervention and harm reduction methodologies
- Proven ability to manage complex case loads with diverse populations
- Advanced knowledge of provincial social services legislation and resources
- Experience supervising social work interns or junior staff
