Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based intervention plans for individuals and families facing complex psychosocial challenges
- Lead crisis response teams providing 24/7 support to at-risk populations including youth and seniors
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care with healthcare providers, legal advocates, and community organizations
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and maintain detailed case documentation
- Facilitate therapeutic groups focused on trauma recovery, addiction, and life skills development
- Advocate for systemic policy changes to improve social service accessibility
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in mental health or child welfare settings
- Current registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
- Crisis intervention certification (e.g., ASIST, QPR)
- Proven expertise in trauma-informed care and culturally competent practice
- Advanced knowledge of Ontario's social services legislation and community resources
- Experience supervising junior staff and program development
