Responsibilities
- Provide trauma-informed counseling and crisis intervention services to diverse client populations
- Develop and implement comprehensive case management plans for vulnerable families
- Lead community outreach initiatives to identify at-risk populations and connect them with resources
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and maintain accurate electronic health records
- Mentor junior social workers and supervise practicum students
- Analyze community needs data to advocate for policy improvements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate wraparound services
- Facilitate support groups for survivors of domestic violence and substance abuse
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from CSWE-accredited institution
- LCSW license with minimum 3 years post-licensure experience
- Proven expertise in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care models
- Advanced knowledge of NYC social services systems and community resources
- Experience developing and evaluating program outcomes
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish preferred
- Certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
- Strong data analysis skills using EHR platforms like Epic or Cerner
