Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Provide crisis intervention and trauma-informed counseling services
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations
- Advocate for clients' needs in legal, housing, and healthcare systems
- Maintain accurate case documentation and comply with regulatory standards
- Lead support groups and educational workshops for community members
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to program development initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
- LCSW or LMSW license in New York State
- Minimum 3 years of direct client experience in social services
- Expertise in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care
- Strong knowledge of NYC social service resources and systems
- Excellent communication and cultural competency skills
- Ability to manage complex caseloads and prioritize effectively
- Valid New York State driver's license (for community visits)
