Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans for clients facing complex social and economic challenges
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and advocacy services to individuals and families
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations to coordinate resources
- Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments and maintain accurate documentation
- Lead support groups and workshops on trauma-informed practices
- Monitor policy changes and advocate for systemic improvements in social services
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to program development initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
- LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) certification required
- Minimum 5 years of direct service experience in social services
- Expertise in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and case management
- Strong assessment, documentation, and multi-agency collaboration skills
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred
- Knowledge of NYC social services systems and community resources
