We're seeking a compassionate Senior Social Worker to lead our outreach initiatives and transform lives through direct intervention and systemic advocacy. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop personalized care plans for clients facing homelessness, mental health challenges, and systemic barriers
- Lead crisis intervention teams providing 24/7 support to individuals in acute distress
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, legal advocates, and community organizations to create integrated support networks
- Design and implement trauma-informed workshops for underserved populations including youth and veterans
- Maintain meticulous case documentation while ensuring HIPAA compliance and ethical standards
- Advocate for policy changes through research, community forums, and legislative outreach
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
- LCSW licensure in Illinois with minimum 5 years post-MSW experience
- Demonstrated expertise in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and harm reduction models
- Proven success in grant writing and program development with measurable outcomes
- Fluency in Spanish or another relevant language preferred
- Experience supervising multidisciplinary teams and interns
- Strong analytical skills for data collection and impact evaluation
