Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive case management plans for vulnerable populations including refugees, at-risk youth, and low-income families
- Provide crisis intervention and trauma-informed counseling services
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (healthcare providers, educators, legal advocates) to coordinate holistic support
- Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments and document progress using electronic health records
- Advocate for policy changes and community resources to address systemic barriers
- Supervise junior staff and provide mentorship in advanced clinical techniques
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from accredited institution
- LCSW license in Illinois with minimum 3 years post-licensure experience
- Proven expertise in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care
- Strong cultural competency with diverse populations including LGBTQ+ and immigrant communities
- Advanced knowledge of Chicago's social services landscape and resource networks
- Experience supervising social work interns or junior staff
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits
