Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for complex cases involving trauma, mental health, and socioeconomic challenges
- Lead crisis intervention teams providing 24/7 support to community members in acute distress
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and coordinate interdisciplinary care conferences
- Design and facilitate therapeutic groups for vulnerable populations (e.g., foster youth, domestic violence survivors)
- Advocate for systemic change through policy recommendations and community mobilization
- Maintain meticulous documentation ensuring compliance with NY State regulations and funding requirements
- Mentor junior staff through clinical supervision and evidence-based practice training
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
- LCSW/LMSW license with 5+ years post-licensure experience in direct service
- Expertise in trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT)
- Proven success in crisis intervention and complex case management
- Experience developing community partnerships and grant-funded programs
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Mandarin strongly preferred
- Familiarity with NYC's social services ecosystem and public benefits systems
