Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized service plans for clients facing homelessness, domestic violence, or mental health challenges
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and crisis interventions using evidence-based frameworks
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care teams including healthcare providers, legal advocates, and housing specialists
- Advocate for systemic policy changes through community organizing and legislative outreach
- Provide trauma-informed counseling to individuals and families navigating complex life transitions
- Train staff in cultural humility practices and de-escalation techniques
- Secure sustainable housing solutions and public benefits for vulnerable populations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
- LCSW or LMSW license with 3+ years of post-licensure experience
- Proven expertise in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care methodologies
- Experience with housing instability and public benefits navigation
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish, Mandarin, or Arabic preferred
- Strong data literacy skills for outcome measurement and program evaluation
- Valid NYC driver's license with clean record for home visits
- Advanced certification in Motivational Interviewing or DBT
