Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based clinical counseling and case management to individuals and families facing complex socio-economic challenges
- Develop and implement trauma-informed intervention plans for at-risk populations including youth, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence
- Coordinate multi-agency collaborations to bridge service gaps and create sustainable community support networks
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and deliver crisis intervention services 24/7 on rotating basis
- Lead community outreach programs focused on mental health awareness, substance abuse prevention, and financial literacy
- Maintain meticulous documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA, state regulations, and agency protocols
- Mentor junior staff and supervise field placements for MSW candidates
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
- LCSW or LMSW licensure in New York State with minimum 3 years post-MSW clinical experience
- Proven expertise in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and cognitive behavioral therapy
- Demonstrated success in securing grant funding and managing program budgets
- Cultural competency working with diverse populations including LGBTQ+, immigrant, and unhoused communities
- Advanced knowledge of NYC social service systems, Medicaid, and public assistance programs
- Strong data analysis skills for program evaluation and outcome reporting
- Valid NYS driver's license with clean driving record
