Responsibilities
- Assess client needs and develop comprehensive case management plans
- Provide crisis intervention and trauma-informed counseling services
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations
- Advocate for clients within legal and social systems
- Conduct psychosocial evaluations and risk assessments
- Develop and facilitate group therapy sessions
- Prepare detailed reports for funding bodies and court proceedings
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) required
- Minimum 3 years' experience in direct social services
- Registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers
- Crisis intervention and trauma certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of local social services resources
- Excellent communication and cultural competency skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Experience working with marginalized populations
