Responsibilities
- Provide crisis intervention and trauma-informed counseling to individuals and families
- Develop and implement personalized case management plans for clients facing housing instability
- Collaborate with community organizations to coordinate holistic support services
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and advocate for client needs within systems
- Lead support groups on topics like parenting skills and financial literacy
- Maintain accurate case documentation and comply with HIPAA regulations
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to program evaluation improvements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
- LCSW licensure in Illinois with minimum 3 years post-MSW experience
- Demonstrated expertise in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care
- Experience working with diverse populations including refugees and LGBTQ+ communities
- Strong knowledge of Chicago's social services landscape and resources
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with cultural humility
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits
