Responsibilities
- Develop and implement personalized intervention plans for clients facing complex social challenges
- Provide crisis intervention and trauma-informed counseling to individuals and families
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including healthcare providers, legal advisors, and community partners
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and maintain accurate client documentation
- Advocate for systemic policy changes affecting marginalized communities
- Lead community workshops on mental health, addiction recovery, and life skills
- Mentor junior staff and supervise social work practicum students
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in direct client services
- Registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers (RSW)
- Certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
- Proven ability to navigate complex systems (healthcare, legal, housing)
- Experience developing and managing community outreach programs
- Exceptional crisis intervention and conflict resolution skills
- Bilingual in English and French (asset)
