Responsibilities
- Develop and implement trauma-informed care programs for vulnerable populations including youth, veterans, and homeless individuals
- Lead interdisciplinary case management teams to coordinate comprehensive support services (housing, mental health, employment)
- Conduct community needs assessments and data-driven program evaluations to optimize service delivery
- Forge strategic partnerships with local government agencies, healthcare providers, and non-profits
- Train staff in cultural competency and crisis intervention protocols
- Secure and manage grant funding for program sustainability
- Advocate for policy changes addressing systemic barriers to social equity
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field (LCSW/LPC preferred)
- 5+ years progressive experience in direct social services with program leadership
- Proven success in grant writing and securing funding ($500K+ annually)
- Expertise in trauma-informed care and evidence-based intervention models
- Strong analytical skills with experience in outcome measurement and reporting
- Illinois state licensure in clinical social work or counseling
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish highly desirable
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
