Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-grade security architectures across cloud/on-premise environments
- Lead incident response for security breaches with rapid containment and recovery procedures
- Conduct advanced penetration testing and vulnerability assessments of critical systems
- Develop security automation frameworks using Python, Ansible, and Terraform
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct security awareness training
- Stay ahead of emerging threats through continuous threat intelligence analysis
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in senior security engineering roles
- Certified CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent advanced security certification
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Proficiency in security automation tools (Splunk, ELK, SOAR platforms)
- Experience with NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR compliance frameworks
- Strong background in network security protocols and threat modeling
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to perform under pressure
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
