Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams in the design, development, and validation of novel immuno-diagnostic assays.
- Manage the end-to-end product development lifecycle, ensuring alignment with global regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 13485, IVDR).
- Formulate and execute strategic research plans to enhance diagnostic sensitivity, specificity, and throughput.
- Collaborate with clinical partners, academic institutions, and commercial stakeholders to translate research concepts into scalable products.
- Oversee experimental design, data integrity, and documentation to support regulatory submissions.
- Drive continuous improvement processes in assay development workflows and laboratory practices.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in immunology and diagnostic technology to inform future R&D roadmaps.
Qualifications
- PhD in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related life science discipline.
- Minimum 5-7 years of post-doctoral or industry experience in diagnostic product development or R&D.
- Proven track record in successful immuno-assay development (e.g., ELISA, Lateral Flow, Luminescence, or Multiplex platforms).
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory standards for diagnostic devices and clinical laboratory compliance.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex scientific data into technical and non-technical reporting.
- Experience in commercializing diagnostic technologies or managing translational research projects is highly preferred.
