Responsibilities
- Strategic Inventory Management: Analyze sales data, market trends, and seasonality to optimize assortment planning and inventory turnover.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Buying Department and Visual Merchandising teams to align stock levels with consumer demand.
- Store Operations Leadership: Oversee daily store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and maintaining high standards of visual presentation.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including sales targets, gross margin return on investment (GMROI), and stock-to-sales ratios.
- Team Development: Mentor store managers and staff on merchandising principles, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
- Merchandising Execution: Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards that drive customer engagement and maximize sales space efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in retail merchandising, buying, or operations.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in retail management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDA) and advanced Excel skills.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable business strategies.
